Seylynn Village InterVista
UX Design
During my intership/mentorship at Intergalactic Agency Inc. one of the projects I had the privilege of working on was the InterVista design for a real estate development in North Vancouver, B.C., Seylynn Village. This was designed to give the user a detailed look at the presale development - from building, to floor plans, to views - as a sales tool for the client.
Given the main branding elements (logos, fonts, colours, imagery and some upcoming newspaper advertisments for inspiration) I was responsible for coming up with the design. Looking through the branding elements, and several examples of other InterVistas that had been designed at Intergalatic, I began to strip the project to the bare elements. What do I want the outcome of the project to be:
It needs to be easy to use.
It needs to tell its users information about the development and the apartments available for purchase.
After several design drafts and conversations with one of the staff designer/coders at Intergalactic I came up with a design that was approved by the client and used in their presentation centre.
